Magical Weekends and Magical Dining

What's up everybody? I hope your week is starting off good. My Monday has been crazy. I almost had a flashback to my last "Tuesday that felt like a Monday". You know that one after Labor Day. All I can say, is "Le Struggle cry.   But, I've decided to focus this week thinking about happy thoughts. So, I have to tell you about my magical weekend with my sister.

Tracey always works on Saturday, and she's normally tired when she comes home. But, this week we decided we needed to have a "night out", and we went to Seasons 52 for Magical Dining. Magical Dining is this amazing time of the year ( August 29th- October 2nd), where restaurants put together an amazing three-course prix menu for $33. One dollar from every meal served goes to a charity. This year the proceeds are going to The Russell Home for Atypical Children. So, you get a great meal while supporting an amazing cause. Tracey and I really look forward to Magical Dining. As caregivers, we have to "ball on a budget". So, we really appreciate every opportunity we can find to have fun affordably. Interested yet? Well check out the food smile.

Seasons 52

Seasons 52 has lots of great options on their Magical Dining menu. Tracey chose the Salmon and I got the Filet Mignon. Even though Magical Dining has a special menu, that doesn't impact the portion size. You're still getting the same quantity as you would if you paid full price.

Wood Grilled Filet Mignon
Wood Grilled Filet Mignon YUMMY!

The Filet was cooked perfectly. As you can see the portion was great. Tracey's salmon looked great, and she said it was so good. Are you still thinking that this is only $33? Well, let me really blow your mind. Check out dessert!

Desserts
Key Lime, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Pecan Pie and S'mores Mini Indulgences

Seasons 52 is known for their mini indulgences. It's the perfect bite to finish off a great meal. Each person gets two for dessert. Tracey and I decided to share, and I'm so glad we did. They were so good. You must try them!

This was such a great night out for us. We were home in time to give mom a hug goodnight, and we got to spend some time talking and laughing. It was a perfect evening all around. So, if you're in the Orlando area take advantage of Magical Dining. There are so many great options out there. Or if you're not, check out what your city offers for affordable nights out. We all need to decompress and reconnect. It's the perfect way to recharge your soul.

Until we chat again!
