Hi everyone! I hope your week has been amazing. It’s time to talk about the one thing that I struggle with, and I think a lot of people struggle with too. It’s time to talk about my journey, and how I took the leap to be transparent at all places, Blogalicious 8.
Be Blogalicious is a multicultural influencer organization that strives to create a place of inclusion, connection and collaboration. They have so many resources & the community is so inspiring. So, when I had a chance to attend their annual conference I knew I had to do it. With this being my “Year of Yes” too, I also took the chance and signed up to volunteer. I’m lo-key shy, so this was a big leap for me. But, the leap paid off, and I was selected for the “Social Squad”.
The fried pickles are amazing, and you must try them with ranch dressing. They’re fried to a perfect golden brown, and have a delightful crunchy sour flavor that is heavenly. I could’ve eaten a basket by myself. But, I shared . I also fell in love with “The Hot Chick”.
“The Hot Chick” is a fried buffalo chicken breast that is topped with fried jalapenos for a nice bit of heat, and then she is balanced out with coleslaw mixed with a touch of their buffalo wing sauce for a bit of sweet heat. She’s saucy, and I’m totally here for it. It was so good. If you love buffalo chicken anything, then you need to try this one.
Hi everyone! Happy Thanksgiving week! I can't believe it's taken me this long to get back to you. It's been super hectic. But, I've got some cool things coming up on "Le Blog", so stayed tuned. But, let me kick it off by recapping my experience at the boutique launch party for Locks and Lashes.
Locks and Lashes Boutique is a great spot that just opened in Orlando, and they specialize in 100% Virgin Remy Hair Extensions, Mink Lashes, L&L Cosmetics and skincare (their personal brand). They have a great selection, and their launch event was at Artegon Marketplace. The event was great, it was a perfect time to check out the hair and their other products. The event was hosted by Priscilla Cruz, Owner & Lead Stylist at Destiny and Light in Tampa; and Rahmlee Birch, Creative Director of Marilyn Monroe Spas.
It was a great evening filled with runway shows, hair models, giveaways, treats and swag. Here are some of my photos from the event. Also, don't forget to check out their Black Friday specials! Check them out at 2017 S. Orange Ave, Orlando, Fl 32806 or call 407-318-4417 for more details!
Hi everyone! Happy "Pre-Halloween"! I hope your weekend has been amazing. I just wanted to share another "Orlando Gem" that I had the pleasure of visiting this week, 3NINE at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. 3NINE is named for Harris Rosen, owner and creator of the Rosen Hotel Group; and just like him it epitomizes class and service. I had the chance to check out 3NINE when I attended "Chef Ricky's Spooky Tricks and Treats" event. All I needed to hear was live pumpkin carving, cocktails and sweets .
Hi everyone! I hope your week has been awesome. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to share a gem that I found in Orlando, Earl’s Kitchen and Bar. Have you been? If not, you need to go.
I’m obsessed with good food and great atmospheres. If you’ve ever checked out my Instagram, you’ll see a plethora of positivity, makeup and food. Of course, the other chick and old lady are there too. But, food is a shining gem that I love to talk about. So, I’ve decided to start sharing my love with you on a more regular basis. Hey, it’s the least I can do. I want us all to have great “affordable gourmet experiences”, and Earl’s Kitchen and Bar doesn’t disappoint.
Earl’s Kitchen and Bar is a Canadian based company that has made it’s way to Orlando. They’re located in the Mall at Millenia, and it’s the perfect spot to make it easily accessible for everyone to enjoy. Earl’s Kitchen and Bar has taken over the spot that was previously occupied by The Blue Martini. So, they’re centrally located to parking, with a close entrance to the mall.
