Hi everyone! Happy "Pre-Halloween"! I hope your weekend has been amazing. I just wanted to share another "Orlando Gem" that I had the pleasure of visiting this week, 3NINE at the Rosen Plaza Hotel. 3NINE is named for Harris Rosen, owner and creator of the Rosen Hotel Group; and just like him it epitomizes class and service. I had the chance to check out 3NINE when I attended "Chef Ricky's Spooky Tricks and Treats" event. All I needed to hear was live pumpkin carving, cocktails and sweets .
Hi everyone! I hope your week has been awesome. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t had a chance to share a gem that I found in Orlando, Earl’s Kitchen and Bar. Have you been? If not, you need to go.
I’m obsessed with good food and great atmospheres. If you’ve ever checked out my Instagram, you’ll see a plethora of positivity, makeup and food. Of course, the other chick and old lady are there too. But, food is a shining gem that I love to talk about. So, I’ve decided to start sharing my love with you on a more regular basis. Hey, it’s the least I can do. I want us all to have great “affordable gourmet experiences”, and Earl’s Kitchen and Bar doesn’t disappoint.
Earl’s Kitchen and Bar is a Canadian based company that has made it’s way to Orlando. They’re located in the Mall at Millenia, and it’s the perfect spot to make it easily accessible for everyone to enjoy. Earl’s Kitchen and Bar has taken over the spot that was previously occupied by The Blue Martini. So, they’re centrally located to parking, with a close entrance to the mall.
I truly believe in making magical moments. There are so many things that we’re responsible for, and one of the hardest things for us to do is LIVE. But, this year I made a vow, or actually a pact to say, “yes” to the things that scare or challenge me. Well, I can tell you this has led me to some amazing experiences. One of the most memorable just happened, Le Diner En Blanc.
When I found out that Diner En Blanc was coming to Orlando, I knew I was going to do everything I could to go. If you check out my previous post when I attended the media party, then you know this has been on my bucket list for a while. So, I was stoked to be able to cover it for “Le Blog”. Even, better than that I was able to bring my sissy. I was totally winning. Now, let me tell you about the event.
Le Diner En Blanc is a pop-up all white dinner party that is held at a mystery location. Guests are bused to the location from all over the city for a party like no other. For Orlando’s inaugural event, the Beacon in Lake Nona was the chosen location. The Beacon is a beautiful 3-legged art installation that was designed by renowned artist Jefre and Michael Counts in partnership with Lake Nona Developer, Tavistock Group. This area was designed to be a community focal point for the community, and it was the perfect spot to bring together so many different people for the purpose of fun and connecting. It was so amazing to see 1000+ people converge on this beautiful installation. It was truly a Beacon letting everyone in Orlando know the party has begun.
All of the guests looked so beautiful in their white. The outfits ranged from conservative to dramatic. Can we say lots of fascinators? Also, there were tribal headdresses, and Apothic Wines, the wine sponsor, wore those. Side note, you must try their red and white. Simply delightful! Also, I since I was covering the media lounge. I also got to try the most amazing sushi from Maki’s Place in Lake Nona. I had the most amazing Tuna Temaki. I definitely will be going back. Everything was so well thought out. I don’t think a detail was missed, and it made the evening divine.
The party also didn’t stop with dinner. Once dinner was over, it was time to dance. The music was pumping, and the band was amazing. They were so good that a guest asked for their contact information, so she could book them for her wedding. They also had Dayve Stewart, who is an excellent saxophonist here in Orlando. Along with dancers, and an amazing DJ. Any song you wanted to hear, they probably played it. Everyone was dancing and having fun. They also had a proposal on the dance floor. Love and happiness was truly in the air.
As the evening wound down, it was time to light the sparklers to signal the end coming near. It was so beautiful to see 1000+ people dancing with sparklers. It was the perfect way to end the evening, and then just like magic it ended. The guests packed up all of their gear, and headed back to the bus. Diner En Blanc is over for 2016. But, I would strongly recommend that you sign up for next year. This is definitely a moment you don’t want to miss. 2017 is going to be amazing!! Here’s the link to the site to find out more deets.
Until we meet again! Do something you never thought you would do. Au Revoir!
Hi everyone! I hope your week is starting off great. I’ve been so busy juggling work and life, that I’ve really been a little slack on my cleaning duties. So, I’ve decided that we’re going to “fall into fall” with a little winter cleaning session .
With three adults in a household, things can get pretty messy. Especially, since my mom and sister tend to have an affinity for keeping everything. They don’t care if it’s a magazine or an insert from the mail. The more the better to them, and it drives me crazy. So, I’m super thankful for Hefty Ultra Strong Trash Bags. They’re built super tough, and are able to handle any mess that we make.
I’m sure you’ve seen my favorite commercial with John Cena. Hefty Ultra Strong Kitchen Trash Bags really are able to stand up to any test, just like John. Now, if I could only get him to come over and take out this bag of old magazines. That would be heavenly, but luckily Hefty Ultra Strong Kitchen Trash Bags are built for heavy lifting, so I don’t feel nervous about the bag breaking on my way to the community garbage container.
In my subdivision, we all share a community garbage area. So, it’s critical that I have a trash bag that is going to survive transport. There is nothing worse in the world, than having to pick up trash in the middle of the street. With Hefty Ultra Strong Kitchen Trash Bags, I feel like they’re designed to make my life easier.
I hope your week is starting off great so far! I'm so glad that Hurricane Matthew has left us unharmed in Orlando. We're so blessed that storm took a tilt. But, I'm definitely heartbroken for everyone being impacted by Hurricane Matthew in the Caribbean and the Carolinas. Prayers up to them! With all of the craziness of the storm, work and family. I haven't had a chance to catch up with you. So, I had to take a quick moment to share my latest experience, CycleBar.
CycleBar is a premium indoor cycling experience that has been in business since 2004. They have a six point mission statement to ensure you have the best experience and workout ever.

Ensure every CycleBar ride is an unparalleled multi-sensory, intoxicating journey.

Fuel each ride with amazing music, energy-enhancing video graphics and rider-specific performance data in a state-of-the-art CycleTheatre™.
Deliver concierge-level service and an exhilarating experience that goes far beyond a great cardio fitness workout.
Rock the ride, each and every time.
CycleBar Winter Park totally delivers on these points. From the ease of setting up your account online before you come, to going in and having them provide shoes, lockers, water, fruit, scrunchies, and wipes. CycleBar Winter Park really takes care of you. I had never done a cycling class on this level (Being locked in your pedals), so I was a little apprehensive. But, they were patient and understanding. They also reassured me it was about having a good time versus trying to be the top of the leaderboard.
Yes, they have leaderboards in the cycle theater. It's like a cross between a night club, and a torture chamber (just kidding). Just image great music, lights down low and you jamming/cycling to the beat. It's a great workout, and I'm glad I did it. Sometimes you need to try the things that are going to push you to be your best self, and then make you want to come back for more.
So, definitely check out CycleBar Winter Park, if you're in Orlando. There are no contracts, pay as you ride. Plus, the service and environment is top shelf. They have great specials going on. I hope to see you in the theatre soon. Thank you Central Florida Lady Bloggers for setting up our intro test ride, I will definitely be back!
