Day 8- Invest In Yourself

23 Days To Balance and Fulfillment In 2015

Invest In Yourself

Happy Tuesday! I hope your day was great. I wanted to make sure I checked in to see how you’re doing. We’ve been on this journey for a week, and we’ve covered a lot of stuff. Are you feeling overwhelmed? I seem to find inspiration at odd times. So, I’ve been jotting down notes in my phone to keep track of my thoughts. Write down your thoughts, they are going to come in handy as we get closer to putting our plan for 2015 on paper.

If you’ve been scared to join the journey, or just overwhelmed by life like most of us; there’s still time for you to join in. Don’t be scared ;-). We’re in this together, I promise. Change can be painful and scary. But, you can’t keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. Something’s gotta give; and I want us all to be balanced and fulfilled in 2015. It’s time for us to live our best lives. We only have one shot.

So, let’s recap where we’ve been, before we move forward.

Day 1: We decided "It's Time To Get Real"

Day 2: We learned that “Small Moments Can Lead To Great Happiness”

Day 3: “The Awakening “ took place

Day 4: “It’s Time To Learn A New Way” of getting things accomplished

Day 5: We discovered “That All Things Are Possible”

Day 6: Much needed rest day. Half- Marathon Prep ;-)

Day 7: “A Little Help Goes a Long Way “, when it comes to accomplishing your goals

Now, it's time to invest in “us”. When was the last time you learned something new? Or better yet, focused on getting better at something you already do? As your thinking about this question, do you hear “crickets” in your head ;-)? Don’t feel bad, I’ve been there too. It’s so easy sometimes to get caught up in the routines of life (family, work, etc.); that we forget about the things that matter to us.

Remember on Day 3, we awakened the passions inside by focusing on what we want for someone we love. We also learned that we have to show that same passion and love for ourselves. That’s the only way we can be balanced and fulfilled. We have to ensure we’re a priority.

I’m passionate about sharing my passion for caregiving and life with you. So, that passion drives me to be the “best student” I can. That’s what you need to do. You have to find that thing that makes you so passionate, that you will be on “Team No Sleep” to get it done. You’ll stay home on weekends, steal moments during the day, or at night to make sure you develop the skills to help you achieve this goal. It’s not about trying to do something to focus on money. It’s about doing something that feeds your soul. When your soul is rich and full, your “pockets” will be too.

So, what are you learning today? What have you learned so far?  Share your thoughts with me. I love chatting with you! Take a chance on you. It’s the best investment you can make. Until we meet tomorrow!
